Smaller evaporator coil.
Bigger features and benefits.
Designed and engineered exclusively for Goodman® brand models.
The AlumaFin7™ evaporator coil gives smart HVAC contractors more efficient options for installations in space-constrained homes.
This All-Aluminum evaporator coil is constructed of 7mm tubing to help optimize the heat transfer properties of the refrigerant. Also, the multi-louvered fins are acid-etched to help drain condensate faster, compared to aluminum fins that are not acid-etched. And, for added structural integrity and air seal, the triangle plate’s thickness is increased. These combined features help deliver improved airflow with minimal static pressure.
AlumaFin7™ evaporator coil: loaded with features, optimized for efficiency. The #1 choice for contractors and satisfied customers.
This release addresses cased and uncased evaporator coils for vertical installations at 1.5-to-3.0T capacity levels, with air conditioner systems only.
Compared to current CAPF models, there are many value-added features with the new coils:
Reduction of tube size from 3/8” to 7MM
Redesigned fin that provides enhanced heat transfer efficiency
Hydrophilic fins to minimize static pressure due to condensate build up
Increased thickness in triangle plate, improving structural integrity and air seal
The new coils maintain their aluminum metallurgy, with all the corresponding advantages in corrosion-resistance.
The cabinet and drain pan are redesigned with the following features:
Single-piece access panel gives better air seal
Flowrator is mounted on the access panel for easier serviceability
Slope of drain pan is increased to provide improved condensate management
Drain pan rail is redesigned to provide a stable structure to prevent shifting of coil during handling
New coils are supported by a 10-year parts limited warranty.*
